Week 6

July 3 - July 9

Working on the project this week has been more challenging. It seems like all week long we've been pushed for time. On Sunday, a group of students from Hallym University in Korea came to UNC Charlotte. They are here for a total of three weeks. During their time here, they are learning gaming and improving their English. While the students are here, those of us working in the gaming lab will be helping them when they have questions about gaming. This week we have also participated in some of the planned social activities with the group.

At the beginning of the summer, I had no idea that we would be having a group students coming from Korea, but I am so glad that they did. It has been really neat working with the students and getting to know them. Assisting in the lab also brings a little bit of variety to the work day. Since they are here, we work the mornings assisting in their gaming class and the rest of the day we work on our project. It's been a nice little change from the normal routine.
