Week 1 Report

During Week 1, I
started setting up the computers to be used for my work.
My supervisor gave me some papers to read to get a better
understanding of the project I needed to do. I was assigned to
"The Next Justice" project which consists of collecting
data from blogs posted on different websites. The data is then
filtered to make a prediction about which person is going to
be elected for the next justice seat. The filtering process
consists of removing from the blogs all data that have no
relevance to the information we are searching for. My
assignment was to examine the computer code written and find
an error that was happening when the filtering was done to the
XML files.
