My summer at NC State
Through the CRA Distributed Mentor Project.
|All about Me:
My name is Angela Reese. I will be a senior at the University of Dayton in the fall (2001). I am working on a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.
I got involved in the CRA DMP when my advisor showed me the brochure. I sent in my application and was accepted into the program. For those of you who don't know, the Distributed Mentor Project organizes female undergraduate students with female mentors in the fields of Computer Science and Engineering. It is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), USENIX, and others. The students help the mentors on research projects at the mentors' institution.

I was assigned to Dr. Annie Antón at NC State. She is an ABB Assistant Professor of Software Engineering in the Department of Computer Science. She received all of her degrees at Georgia Tech. Her areas of research are scenario management, goal-based requirements engineering, information security and privacy as well as the design of electronic commerce applications.
Privacy and Security - Find the goals in the privacy policies of Health Care related sites (collect medical information). The library of reusable goals will be incorporated into SMaRT.
SMaRT - Scenario Management and Requirements Tool; Investigating use of goals and scenarios for requirements engineering.
I am at NC State for 10 weeks, June 4 - August 10.
