BuffaLouie's: Wings is their specialty. I don't really like wings, but they were all right.
Bub's Burgers & Ice Cream: Fantastic food. They have a hangover elk burger, which has ham and egg on it. It is great. I had never tried elk before and found it tasty. Also, the sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce taste good.
Dagwood's Deli Sub Shop: I ordered the meatball sub. It was awful! They also put a lot of lettuce on their sandwiches to make up for their small servings of other ingredients.
Finch's Brasserie: I went here with my boss for lunch. The rabbit cacciatore was very good. Finch buys their ingredients locally.
Pizza X: They make good, not great, pizza. However, I loved The Big Cheese: a pizza without tomato sauce, with cheese and walnuts. The Italian Stallion was also good. They have many unique and interesting specialty pizzas.
Sugar and Spice: Indiana University Union: This is a dessert shop. The scones are fantastic. It's a bit pricey, like Starbucks, but worth it.
Taste of India: There is a wonderful lunch buffet with authentic Indian cuisine. Not for the faint of tongue! Also, Taste of India has discounts for IU students, senior citizens, and cash payments.
Tenth Street Market & Deli: This is an Asian market; it has pretty much everything you could need from fresh fruit to duct tape. They have a great international foods selection. The fresh samosas and other fresh Mediterranean food are tasty and filled with traditional spices.
Tudor Room: Indiana University Union: The food is served buffet style and it tastes like conference food. For the most part, it was very good. And, the fruit tarts are to die for. Students will get a discounted meal if they show up between 1 and 1:30. It's the last bits of food that they're trying to get rid of. They sometimes post their menu online.
