Week 3: Jun 14 - Jun 18
I continued working on the changes for the Avatar Shopping website and successfully edited the site so that the prices are highlighted and the buttons are redesigned to be bigger and more recognisable. I also wrote a short python program which produces bigrams from questions, for another research project call I-Tech which aims to give drivers help with understanding features of their car, through verbal communication.
On Tuesday Dr. Larry Hodges gave a presentation entitled "Graduate School 101" and basically articulated practically everything we need to know about deciding if graduate school is right for us, planning for graduate school and being successful at graduate school.
On Thursday we had another presentation by Dr. Mark Smotherman who informed us about graduate school, specifically here at Clemson University. He spoke about the different programs, assistantship and fellowship opportunities, requirements and also accommodated for a very informative Q&A session.
