Final Report
Although not completed, the PowerPC backend, compatible with both Linux and Mac OsX, is almost finished. The only things remaining are the implementation of a few functions, such as absolute value expressions, bit complement, remainder, etc. On a bigger scale (no pun intended), although we have of course been testing as we go along, I would consider the testing phase not even started. This, in my opinion, would be the ultimate step to complete, in order to say, "Scale has a PowerPC backend." The details of the Final Report can be found here: Final Report/Presentation pdf |
