Player plugin-driver for the Surveyor SRV-1 (ARM-7 processor) |
I found an old player driver found in the surveyor forums. This driver did not work out of the box in player 2.x, so I had to modify it as needed and now I need to improve its documentation. For now, this driver only supports the position2d and the camera interfaces.

USAR confined-space arena at the Agents Lab in Brooklyn College |
We setup a USAR confined-space arena that we will be using to test SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) algorithms and create bitmaps of each level of the confined-space arena and bring into Player/Stage.

We want to focus on SLAM techniques with Player/Stage, so we can use our robots (mainly the SRV-1) to create maps of the rescue arena to be use in the Stage simulator. The challenge we are facing is the SLAM itself and how maps can be dynamically drawn in Stage.
