The Lab

AIBOs and Roombas These are a few shots taken at the Agents Lab of Brooklyn College.

You can find a great variaty of robots that Brooklyn College uses for academic research. Here, we see a line of Sony AIBO robot-dogs resting on their battery chargers, as well as a few iRobot Roombas on the floor. Soccer Robot Field

The soccer field in the background is where the Brooklyn College RoboCup Team (formerly "AIBO League") practiced their distributed perception and cognition algorihtms applied to soccer.

The USAR (Urban Search and Rescue) arena that we assembled recently will allow us to continue researchin on SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping).

A swarm of surveyor robots (SRV1 with ARM-7 processor) wander around the arena.
