Celine Latulipe received her undergraduate degree and graduate degree at the University of Waterloo in Canada. Her research is part of a broad category called Human Computer Interaction (HCI), but more specifically she focuses on novel interactive devices and techniques for the creative arts. She began in this field with the development of dual-mouse vector drawing software, later expanding it to adjust brightness and luminosity and color mixing. Still interested in the use of multiple mice, but inspired by a new art form, her current work is on a project called Dance.Draw. This project combines novel interactive devices and dance to create new pieces of choreography and inspire new technology. More information about her research can be found here.
