Week Seven: June 28 - July 2
This week I finished the reports of Arxiv Hepph, APS Physical Review, and Patents datasets. I presented the reports to Professor Lerman and Rumi at our weekly meeting. There are some unexpected results so we decided to normalize gamma and alpha values. Professor Lerman and Rumi came up with two options to normalize the values. I was really impressed by the way they analyzed data and discussed problems. This is something that I want to be able to do in my future career. I spent the rest of the week trying to normalize gamma value, and the result was pretty good.

Weekend:
This weekend was a blast! My friend drove to UCLA to pick up another friend of us, and we went to Little Tokyo on Saturday night. We had a wonderful dinner at Japanese restaurant (this one is quite expensive though). The highlight of the weekend was a trip to Raging Waters in San Dimas on Sunday. It was CRAZY and so much fun going to a lot of rides. I LOVE WATERPARK!
