Research Project: Performance Animation using Wii controllers
Part I:
Find and read as much information about Wii-motes as possible. Learn about its properties, functions, capabilities, etc. Determine the direction in which to advance the research project.
Part II:
Research project's area: Performance Interface.
The research goal: Run a motion-capture session while simultaneously recording acceleration data from the Wii-motes and motion data from the retro-reflective markers. Use this information to find ways to interactively control character animation.
Final Report
