Les Mis on Summer Break Logo, taken from site: www.lesmis.comAdventures from Down Under, and by Down Under I mean Boston, and by Boston I mean Somerville.

The weekend of June 28 I went to New York City. While I was there I saw The Donkey Show, a "musical" at a club which was incredibly funny. I also learned that Central Park is not in fact scary.A set of three NY pictures, the I Love NY symbol, Central Park, and the Donkey Show logo
Boston FireworksThe weekend of July fourth my housemates and I stayed in Boston and had a barbecue which was SO much fun! We had six houseguests and so many people over all day. Then, that night we went over to the Charles river to listen to the Boston Pops and watch the fireworks... wow!
I went back to New York City the weekend of the 12th of July to visit my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin. While I was there we saw Urinetown the Musical which was wonderful! Urinetown Logo
The Boston Science Museum's Promotional Poser of the IMAX movie, Pulse

The following weekend, the weekend of July 19th, my Brother Jake came to visit me. We hung out in Boston and did an incredible amount of walking, culminating at the The Cheesecake Factory, yum! We also went to the Museum of Science's IMAX theater and saw "Pulse, a STOMP Odyssey". Pulse was a presentation of dancing and drumming throughout the world. It was beautiful!
The following week, July 26th to August 2nd, my family and I went to Cape Cod! We stayed at this wonderful little house in West Yarmouth, within the town of Yarmouth. To all who have as yet been unable to venture to the Cape, GO! It is such a wonderful place. Our days consisted primarily of going to the beach, eating Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and relaxing! The beach where we spent most of our time was Coast Guard Beach although our traditional Seagull Beach was much closer. I had such a nice time and it was really great to spend the time with my family. Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Jillian's Bar in BostonThe following weekend was Lauren's (one of my housemates) birthday. Her Opera Concert was on Friday the 8th, so we took her out to dinner and then went to see it. She is so talented! We then went to Jillians to spread the joy of being 21!

I spent the week of August 16 to August 23 with my Aunt and Uncle in the Thousand Islands. For all who are curious (this includes most people), the Thousand Islands are located in north-western New York, on the border of Canada. The area itself is absolutely gorgeous! The name is the area is a bit misleading, there are actually 1700 Islands in total. Some of the highlights included an antique boat-ride through many of the Canadian and American Islands, successful fishing trips, and amazing company! It was such a wonderful and incredibly relaxing trip!Boldt Castle in the Thousand Islands

The Tufts Beelzebubs album cover for 'Code Red'On the 24th I moved into my residence for the academic year. That was tedious but successful. During the week leading up to the weekend of the 30th I continued to organize my new suite with my suitemates. It was pretty satisfying and now it looks quite nice indeed. The weekend of the 30th the remained of my suitemates moved in. Although Monday does not technically count as part of the weekend (which is what this page primarily discusses), it will in this instance as the Monday in question was Labor Day (i.e. no more white shoes). On this Monday of Mondays I went to the orientation a capella show. It was so enjoyable!
