MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 1) MAY 27-JUNE 2
During this week, I arrived at Auburn, AL from Clarksdale, MS. It was a long drive because it was storming some of the way there, but I made it safe. The room I stay in is decent, but the campus is real nice. I got some activities to do to get me ready for the summer. Some activities include researching about online learning. Also, I got to work with microbit programming and AR devices, such as merge cube which is very interesting. I got settled in and toured the campus a little bit. My roommate showed me around because he been here before. My mentor, Dr. Seals is a very nice person and been helpful with my first time coming to Auburn. I can't wait to get my project and start working to develop something that could be useful to others. We went to Tuskegee to tour the campus. We got to see the Tuskegee airmen museum. It was very nice but not as big as Auburn. Also got to meet some other people in summer programs here at Auburn.

MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 2) JUNE 3-JUNE 9
I got to experience to code on a micro bit and sit with Dr. Seals in some meetings to see how some projects work. Also, sit in on some people presentation so I can know how it goes. I also have a presentation I'm working on for next Friday. I had some fun times with the other people in the program. And got to play some indoor and outdoor games. There was a picnic for family's that I got to enjoy with some people. I can now start helping on the project Spectrum which I will find more details about later. I like how Dr. Seals always keep me busy with activities to work on and do. I was able to program a game on the micro bit like Simon Says which displays something for the user to do, and when done it adds a score.

MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 3) JUNE 10-JUNE 16
During this week, I got the chance to work on some minor projects for kids that I will be teaching to them. Basically, developing games on the micro bit for the students to enjoy and get them interested in computer science. My power point is coming together for my presentation next Friday. I also started on building the website for Spectrum with my lab partner. Also, still working on literature reviews. Outside of work, I haven't did anything but eat and sleep. I got a chance to try out a new restaurant.
MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 4) JUNE 17-JUNE 23
The presentation was pushed back, which I am glad, because I didn't have a lot of information. I didn't feel I had enough information to make a great presentation. Me and my lab partner got to work on a website that is trying to get publish for Dr. Seals. It's coming along, we just want it to look good enough and usable for everyone. I have been researching a lot trying to find as much as I can on the things I'm presenting about. It has been storming a lot this week. But I got a chance to go bowling with the other people in the programs here at Auburn, Every week I try to find a new restaurant to go to, because back home there isn't much to eat. The half mark is coming up for this summer.
MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 5) JUNE 24- JUNE 30
This week I got to see others present to get an idea on how I should present my work. I also got to present some of the things I been doing to summer students, and my mentor with presenting to summer students. I also did a run through presentation to my mentor on some of my summer research. The summer students enjoy the presentation and loved the hands on experience they got with the material. I'm moving forward with my project. Hopefully it is good enough.
MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 6) JULY 1-JULY 7
During this week, I started to develop a case study for the spectrum server. Case studies are what the teacher can use to help with classroom management. Which I will get more into on my finally project. My mentor gave me a list of this to have developed ready for the final project. Hopefully, I can have everything ready in time for my final project. Outside of work, I got to enjoy some BBQ for the fourth of July. Also, I got a chance to play some games with colleagues.
MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 7) JULY 8-JULY 14
I started to develop my final presentation for the end of the summer this week, My mentor and her grad students has been very helpful with helping me. The project I'm presenting, I feel it is a very interesting project. Which I will soon upload to my project page. I also continued to work on scenarios for spectrum. My mentor is preparing me some training I can use to become better in computer science. The end of the summer is slowly approaching and I'm getting excited.
MY EXPERIENCE (WEEK 8) JULY 15-JULY 21
This week, I am finishing my final presentation for Friday. Also, working with my mentor to see what we can do these last two weeks after presenting Friday. My mentor and grad student has been giving me advice on presenting and make sure I present well. We all feel the presentation will be very interesting to others and go well. The presentation did go well Friday. People where very interested in it. I feel I did an excellent job as well. I'm ready to go to a conference to present my research as well. Looking forward to finishing up my research.
