A Little About Myself.
Here is a little information about myself! Nice to meet you :)
Hello! My name is Joed Ngangmeni and for as long as I can remember I have been in love with machines. I remember being a wee little lad in Cameroon, where I was born and lived till the tender age of 7, I would always get in trouble for forgetting to put household appliances or the TV back together after taking them apart to see what the pieces did individually.
When I was 7 years old my family moved to the United States and with the newfound access to the internet and all things machinery I was able to develop this raw love for machines and mold it into love for information. I followed this love and it led me to Computer Science. I worked hard and got into Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt as a part of the super selective Science and Technology program. While I was there I was able to refine this love for Computer Science and narrow it down to Software Engineering because of my love for problem solving and coding. After 4 long years of high school, I got a full scholarship to the illustrious Howard University as a part of the inaugural cohort of the Bison STEM Scholars Program; a program designed to increase the number of African American PhD's in STEM related fields. If all goes according to plan, should graduate in 2021 and go on to pursue my Masters and then a PhD in Computer Science. |
