Week 2
Week two was great and extremely productive. I am really excited to continue
working with the robots and learning more about how to make them work. My group
and I were able to experiment with the robot by having it fully autonomous and
then giving a set direction to travel or angle to turn through user input. I'm
really looking forward to next week. Below is a more detailed report of how my
week went...
- Tuesday
- Worked on code for robot.
- Got robot to travel a set distance.
- Began to work on Rotation controls.
- Wednesday
- Continued working on Rotation controls for robot.
- Attended Troy’s PhD Defense.
- Got robot to rotate for a set angle.
- Began working on code for Robot Bumpers.
- Thursday
- Continued working on code for Robot Bumpers.
- Got Robot to react when bumpers are activated.
- Optimized code so robot traveled and rotated more precisely.
- Friday
- Began working on Multi-Agent Systems in crash course.
- Stated working on code so that multiple robots can be controlled and
communicate with each other.
- Goals for Next Week
- Be able to control multiple robots.
- Have a working code so robots can communicate with each other.
- Optimize code so that distance and angle controls are more precise.
