A College Student from Bloomington Indiana
My name is Omar White. I'm a 20 year old college student from Bloomington Indiana. I've lived in Bloomington my whole life up until now. Thanks to this REU I finally have the opportunity to experience a new town. Much of my family originates from Alabama, so it seems fitting for me to come here to do research. I'm very excited to use this opportunity to learn more about the process of doing research to expand my knowledge in Computer Science.

Indiana UniversityIn the fall, I will be a junior at Indiana University with plans to graduate in the spring of 2017. I'm a student in the School of Informatics and Computing pursuing a B.S. in Informatics with a minor in Business and Computer Science. Outside of my academics, I work as a Resident Assistant in Eigenmann Hall, one of IU's residence halls. I'm also a member of the SOIC Pacesetters, a student group within the School of Informatics and Computing.
Have Questions? If you are interested in my experience, have questions about the research, or just want to know more about what it was like for me to live in Tuscaloosa for 10 weeks you can contact me by email at: omawhite@indiana.edu
