Dr. Shaundra Daily is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Clemson University, where she is directing MorphLab. Before working at Clemson University, Dr. Daily obtained her masters and doctorate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology MediaLab, where she helped design and implement technology-infused learning environments in which youths can learn about themselves and gain insight into interpersonal dynamics.
Prior to receiving her masters and doctorate, Dr. Daily received her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University - Florida State University College of Engineering. There, she worked on developing algorithms in Matlab for predicting the possibility of student success in entry-level electrical engineering courses.
Currently, Dr. Daily is working on increasing the number of women in computer science career fields by facilitating a project called virtual environment interactions, along with Dr. Leonard. Virtual environment interactions blends movement and programming in order to increase computational thinking in girls so that a career in computer science is more accessible in the future.
