I'm currently pursuing my undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Computer Science and Mathematics. I just finished my fourth year, and my projected date of graduation is December 2010.

At Pitt, my undergraduate research advisor is Dr. Diane Litman, and this fall, I'm looking forward to not only continuing my work with her, but also working on a term project with Dr. Kirk Pruhs this fall.

This summer, I'm working with Dr. Jihie Kim at the Information Sciences Institute, which is part of the University of Southern California, in Marina del Rey, California. Dr. Kim's current research focuses on intelligent technologies for teaching and learning. This project is funded and organzied through CRA-W's DREU Program. For more information about this work, please see my DREU Experience blog.

In addition to research, I also really enjoy singing, cooking, and swimming. I'm an alumnus of Pitt's Heinz Chapel Choir, and I currently sing with Pitt's Women's Choral Ensemble and a small chamber choir called Vox Sacra, conducted by my voice teacher, Richard Teaster. Last summer, I was also seen in Undercroft Opera's production of Elixir of Love.
