The research project I am working on is about Privacy Settings on Facebook. My mentor and her team are making a new interface for the privacy settings in Facebook. In an early study they found that most people didn't actually understand how to set their privacy settings to what they want. So what they did was created a new interface with an audience view. The user would see their actual profile in different views( Only Me, Friends , and Networks). With just a click of a lock button the setting was secure.

Part of my job is to update the all ready coded interface. The present interface was created with the old Facebook interface in mind, so we have to put in the new functionality so it could be equally compared to Facebook. The other part of my job is to help run a study on how our interface compares with Facebook's.
