Week 3

May 29 - June 2

When I was transferred to a different dorm called Squires Hall, I got to meet my new roomates. Tiffany Ralph, she is from Colorado State University, and my the other roomate, Eve Powell, is currently attending UNCC. They seemed to be very friendly. Tar,Tiffany Ralph has lots of web developing skills, and Eve is excellent in developing games. I hope to make great friends with these girls and learn a lot from noth of them.

This week, most time was spent brain storming. Tar, Eve, Paige and I tried to come up with as many ideas as possible. We came up with a couple of good game ideas for each CS concepts such as loops, if...then statement, even for recursion. Although we had a hard time trying to figure out how to imply these concepts into a game, but I think we did pretty good coming up with the ideas. I also started on the 3D Game Studio tutorials on Wednesday. I found it easier to learn than Unreal Editor. We also presented our ideas to Dr. Richter and she thought we had many great ideas. I will talk more about them as the weeks progress.
