I am currently a sophomore at Durham Technical Community College. During the 2016/2017 school year I participated in NASA Swarmathon and HASP. These two projects have got me deeply interested in micro controllers, ARM based hardware, and robotic applications.
In the future, I plan to participate in both Swarmathon and HASP again as well as adding an unnamed Drone Project to the portfolio. My current personal projects are GPS collars that use a GSM network to communicate their location, a personal room LiDAR room mapping robot platform, and an electric skateboard similar to a Boosted Board in features and performance.
I am currently a research fellow participating in a DREU through the NASA Swarmathon competition at California State University Channel Islands. My mentor for this research experience is Dr. Jason Isaacs who is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science there. His area of research, past projects, and interests can be found by clicking on his name above.
Our particular project will be continuing to develop algorithms on the NASA Swarmathon Platform.
