I’ve been able to finish the design of Snag’ Em over the course of the summer, though there is still a good amount of site
development left to complete. Since I’d like my new interface to be utilized, I’m planning to continue working on the development of
the site over the next few weeks. Once this is up and running, there is the possibility of running a study to validate the design
decisions I’ve made and examine the effects of Snag’ Em on it’s users.
I've learned just as much as I've enjoyed this summer.
I entered entirely new to web development, so leaving this summer feeling capable of editing, creating, and understanding website processes
is rewarding to me. I also feel as though I have a better idea of what awaits in both industry and graduate school. I’ve always had graduate
school in mind but my experience this summer has reinforced my hopes to go within the next few years; although I’d like to try out industry
first both for curiosity and practicality. Altogether, this summer has been an eye-opening and refreshing experience that I’m very thankful to have
had.
