Howdy!
Week seven has ended, and the summer is coming to an end which means that by now
we should be finalizing our summer project. We have made some advancements to the
code with the help of Saurabh. We worked on getting a more accurate localization
for the robot, and trying to fix the rotate function which was not working. We
were able to get a lot done this week, I'm sure next week we could start assembling
the A&M logo after minor issues are resolved.
Monday – 9 hrs
- Had a group meeting and discussed goals for the week and problems to be solved
according to level of urgency
- Checked robot's visual perception for accuracy
Tuesday - 9 hrs
- Attended C++ class with Mukulika
- Attended weekly motion planning meeting and gave an update on the summer
project
- Finished assignment given by Mukulika
- Worked on setting the A&M logo boxes with markers and measured them
Wednesday- 9 hrs
- Attended C++ class with Mukulika
- Finished assignment given by Mukulika
- Chose a name for our poster
- Tested robot's global position
Thursday - 8 hrs
- Attended C++ class with Mukulika
- Emailed finished assignments to Mukulika
- Assisted in trying to fix the rotate funtion of the code as it was not
performing precisely
Friday - 8 hrs
- Experimented with our old rotate function that performed very well after many
trials
- Met with Saurabh about the new variation of the project
- Worked on weekly outline
Goals for Next Week
- Goal 1 : Get the robot to start assembling the A&M logo
