Who Am I?
My name is Phoebe Wooldridge. I am a rising Junior at Carleton College in Northfield, MN, a small, liberal arts college known for its polar vortex winters, Ultimate Frisbee teams, and friendly student body (Mid-Western style). I will graduate in June, 2017 with a computer science major and neuroscience concentration.
I can be contacted at either email address accessible by the buttons below. Feel free to reach out to me with questions about my research or experience at Drexel, or with any other questions you might have! I can always be reached by my gmail address.
My Carleton email address will no longer be functional after I graduate in June, 2017.

More About Me
I am originally from Durham, NC (let's go Duke Blue Devils!). I graduated from C. E. Jordan High School in 2013. I love playing soccer, reading, and camping. I have a little sister named Lucy, a dog named Java, and a mom and dad named Becca and Julian, respectively.
I first became interested in computer science when I was very young, though I didn't know it. I spent a lot of time constructing my own web pages through various sites, spending hours a day teaching myself basic html. It wasn't until my senior year of high school that I took my first course in computer science, however. Even then, it wasn't until I was introduced to the Computer Science department at Carleton that I decided that I was really interested in the subject, and that I wanted to major in it.
My computer science career is just beginning - only a few years old, really! - but I'm excited to continue in the subject, and that you, if you're reading this, must have a similar enthusiasm for this fast-growing and incredibly important field.

My Mentor: Dr. Erin Solovey
For the seven weeks that I spent conducting research at Drexel, my project and progress was monitored by Dr. Erin Solovey. whose lab I was working with.
Dr. Solovey received her bachelor's degree from Harvard University in computer science, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science from Tufts University. Currently an Assistant Professor in the College of Computing and Informatics at Drexel University, Dr. Solovey's research focuses on human-computer interaction. Specifically, Dr. Solovey uses non-invasive methods of collecting measurements of brain productivity, such as functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS), to create brain-computer interfaces.
