About my Mentor

Dr. Tracy Hammond is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. She is also the Director of the Sketch Recognition Lab (SRL). Dr. Hammond obtained her Ph.D from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her areas of research include activity recognition (focusing on eye, body and sketch motions), haptics, intelligent fabrics, SmartPhone development, and computer-human interaction.

My Graduate Student Mentor is Stephanie Valentine, a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University and also a previous DREU participant.
