my name is alana ramjit. i'm a rising senior at columbia university in the city of new york (roar, lions, roar!). i will graduate in 2015 with a bachelor of arts in computer science, focusing in systems. additionally, i'm minoring in history with a specialization in gender and sexuality.
my research interests are in operating systems, parallel computing, and computer architecture. less technically, i like to explore community building and advocacy, particularly around gender and racial equality.
