This summer I have the privilege of working with Dr. Mentis at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dr. Mentis is
an assistant professor in the Department of Information Systems at UMBC. Much of her research involves analyzing movement. She has done significant work with
commercial sensors, such as the Microsoft Kinect and the Leap Motion Device. One of her many research projects involves working with Parkinson's
patients who have undergone Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).
