I am currently an upper junior in Brooklyn College (CUNY), majoring in Computer Science. I hope to graduate next summer (July 2015).  Earlier this year, I applied to the Distributed Research for Undergraduates program.  I was matched with Professor Julia Hirschberg, the chair of the Computer Science department at Columbia University. This summer I am working with the Spoken Language Processing Group.  This group, directed by Dr. Hirschberg, collects speech samples and analyzes speech patterns.
