The majority of our research was done in the DePaul College of Computing and Digital Media, seen above.
Anfal Boussayoud is an incoming junior at Barnard College, majoring in Computer Science. She's the Community Coordinator for Women in Computer Science, the Media Coordinator for Columbia's Muslim Students Society, an audiovisual technician for the Instructional Media and Technology department at Barnard, and a Sergeant at Arms for the Philolexian Society of Columbia University. Somewhere in that mess she finds enough time to write the short stories that get stuck in her head and play every video game ever.
An Algerian born and Brooklyn bred girl, she's determined to give back to her community using the tools they gave her. This internship in Chicago is the longest she's been away from home, but all bouts of homesickness are quickly dealt with iced coffee and the particularly adorable cat and puppy her roommate lets her play with. Strangely enough, barking and hissing remind her of family.
