My Research Project

         My research project is based in the creation of visualizations for the data on the web site: Virtual Town Square. According to Michael Friedman "the main goal of data visualization is to communicate information clearly and effectively through graphical means" and this is what I'm trying to do. My job is to create easier way to see the information in the site, as well as making it more interactive to the general public. The way I will do this is with the implementation of one or more Processing windows within the site. 


 The main Idea behind The Virtual Town Square site is to unite the people from the New River Vally and keep them up to date with the local issues. The same way our ancestors used to get together in the middle of the town to discuss important issues within the town, but brought to the 21st century.
