Magdalena is an Assistant Professor in the CSE department at the University of Washington. She has research interests in databases and distributed systems. She holds a Ph.D from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Julie is a Ph.D candidate at the University of Washington. Julie developed the
Lahar Project, and is a great mentor for my project. She loves running and the outdoors, and makes incredibly delicious baked goods.

Jennifer is a sophomore at the University of Washington. A Seattle native, she intends to major in Computer Science. She likes bubble tea and adventures in Seattle. She is designing a user interface for the Lahar demonstration in France in August.
