Genia is a senior studying Computer Science at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She plans to graduate in June 2010. She is interested in Distributed Systems, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning and Robotics. She hopes to pursue a career in Computer Science research, and will be applying to graduate programs in autumn.
Genia enjoys the outdoors - hiking, running, rock-climbing, and taking care of the environment. She also loves cooking, food, and traveling. She especially enjoys eating food outdoors while traveling, and afternoon naps. If she wasn't so in love with Computer Science, she would either work as an outdoors guide or at a big cat sanctuary.
