6/23 - Today was a rather good day for us. We had our weekly meeting today, where we explained all of the difficulties we were having understanding our assignment and what we were supposed to do, so a lot of things were cleared up today. We were also very productive. Remember our Ruby script from last week and the database problems we were having? Well, now Sunny helped us with our database, and everything is working great! We have a database for Firefox's CVS log! How exciting it was.
6/26 - We're doing a great job on this weeks goals. So far, we've generated all the Doxygen files we'll need for Apache and Firefox and are now working on understanding the output. It's all XML, which is something neither Ritika nor I have worked with, but it doesn't look like it'll be too hard. We're also working on downloading the developer mailing list for Firefox and Apache, but the Firefox mailing list is forbidden to download through wget. The Apache mailing list has been taking days, and Sunny believes that we've done something wrong. I don't know what is going on, but I'm glad that we have been being productive. |
