My Work
Summer 2009: Currently I am working under the DREU program with Professor Sara Sprenkle and Professor Lori Pollock, as well as undergraduate students Camille Cobb and Carrie Hopkins on research involving the testing of web applications. Hopefully our research will be successful and enable others in the future to find a better way of testing web applications!
Winter 2009: During the winter session of 2009 at the University of Delaware I worked with Professor Lori Pollock and Professor Terry Harvey in an independent study course (CISC 366) that dealt with programming OLPCs(One Laptop Per Child) and Myro robots. This independent study was unusual in the fact that we actually worked in groups, and gained a lot of great experience of what it is like to program in teams. We also learned how to program in a language called Python, and used this knowledge for both the OLPCs and the robots. This study was a great showcase of some of the neat and worthwhile things we can do with computer science, and was really inspiring!
