This time, I came to College Station prepared. Mindful of the dullness of this place from my previous stay here, I arrived this summer determined to make my own fun. And I did. Quite sucessfully too. Here's a brief glimpse into how I kept myself entertained during Round II at Texas A&M.

One day, I decided to go to the Houston Space Center, an attraction I had neglected to visit last summer. So, with Bonnie (my fellow DMP student) in tow, I jumped into the trusty Subaru Outback and set off.

The outside of the Space Center. Thrilling, isn't it? Trust me, it gets better. Me with a Space Toilet. I take pictures of exotic toilets wherever I go. Ask to see my toilet pictures from my tour of France.
Hey look! Bonnie's on the moon! You gotta have some sense of humor if you're going to survive in Texas, right?
That's one BIGGGG rocket engine! Because of the strict security at the Space Center, we couldn't actually go up close to this rocket to take a picture. So, I stopped the car kinda illegally, while Bonnie jumped out to take this picture.

At one point, I actually escaped College Station for a week to return back to the East Coast to go house hunting with my future Brown flatmate, Cora. Not one to be idle, I also visited my Swat friends Ursula and Joanna while I was there, and attended my close friend Bia's wedding.

Me and Ursula, outside her dorm at Rutgers where she's doing a Math/CS REU. Apparently there is a sorry lack of role-players on campus. Me and Joanna at her house in New Jersey. Joanna and her family were so sweet and let me stay with them on my way up to Providence.
