Journal - Week 3 Boston !!!
Boston never looked so good
I went to Boston to visit my bros. (Note: I refer to my friends who were and currently are in my MIT undergraduate cultural house as bros) I also hanged out with Project Interphase students. (Note: Project Interphase is a summer program for incoming MIT undergraduate students. I was a student in the program as well as TA and Instructor) Below I will discuss briefly the highlights of my Boston trip.

6am Talks
In college, there are times where you stay up late at night. Simply, you and friends talk about anything and everything. Then everyone realizes its super late and rushes to bed. I had one of those moments with several friends. The talk started before I went to a lounge and when I got back from the lounge the talk continued.

Videogames with the students
Video games competitiveness never goes out of style in college.

4th of July Extravangaza
The 4th of July got started with Project Interphase BBQ. The BBQ brought back my Project Interphase memories. The food was okay but it was great to reminisce. Another BBQ followed the Project Interphase one. It was Chocolate City (my MIT cultural house) BBQ, my home away home during my MIT undergraduate career. This cookout was popping as bros not only cooked hamburgers but also smoked ribs. My bro Chris was a spectular DJ which he continued into the party at night. People basically chilled and ate but everybody got up and dance to cookout classics as Electric Slide.

Jarrell's extreme smoothies
My bro Jarrell created these excellent natural smoothies. I never knew smoothies could be so sweet without adding sugar but my bro has mastered this smoothie making art.

Last night of Troy
The last night in Boston I debated whether to go to sleep. After talking online, I walked to one of the lounges in the dorm and saw my bros and interphasers watching a classic, Love & Basketball. Of course, I had to rewatch this movie's ending. After the movie completed, the interphasers begged my bro to put in another movie. It was Troy. A lot of people confused Troy with Alexander including me so I was pleasantly surprised by Troy. Three hours later at 5am in the morning with sleepy eyes I caught a taxi to the airport. My wonderful Boston trip had ended.
