Fun fun fun: Gas Works Park

A little person having fun on his bike amongst the big machines at Gas Works Park

Gas Works Park is located on Lake Union. It's a pretty cool park because it is an old gas-manufacturing plant. Import of natural gas in the 1950's made the plant obsolete, and the park was opened to the public in 1975.

There's a great view of the Seattle skyline, and it's fun to wander around amongst the big, rusty machines.
