Project Journal - Week 10

8/7/04

Bad me, not updating enough. I'm not working on the webpage anymore, so I'm not in Dreamweaver anymore, so this just doesn't seem to get updated anymore. *hangs head*

I got the kit done and I went through the study with Matt. Aristo was being silly, but I think we have that all sorted out. If not, there's really nothing I would be able to do about it, aside from get the people that DO know what they're doing over to help Matt out. But I think everything was sorted out, and if not, I hope he knows who to talk to about what. And if not, I'm sure he's capable of figuring it out. After all, *I* eventually learned my way around the lab. I'm sure he can, too.

And this is it. This is my last day here. I don't have the paper done, and I still have to write up a final thing for this website, but aside from that, my part is done. Crazy. This is the last day of the last week. In a few more days, I'll be at home. This project isn't done, and I know I'll be finishing up stuff while I'm at home, but... still. I don't know. Words fail me.

Goals for tomorrow: Pack to go home!

Well. My study ran. Out of the ten people that signed up, only four actually showed up. Of those, one girl wasn't cool with being videotaped. So I only had another three people run the study. *sigh* Silly people.

Matt called me back... the day *after* my study ran. Ah well. I have a meeting with him tomorrow; by then I should have at least a start on my "How To Run Casual Interactions With Technology" kit. I can run it by him and make sure it makes sense to someone who's me.

Also, I need to start looking at the videotapes and data from both Sunday and two weeks ago. Kit first, though.

Goals for tomorrow: Finish kit. Talk to Matt about the study; possibly walk him through setting up Aristo. Get another start on the paper. Look at the video tapes, if there's time.
