Weely Outline 6 - (July 4 - July 8)
Howdy! This week was very progressive! We got many things done and advanced well in our project. I have really been enjoying our time here at A&M. I like how everyone is so friendly around here! I have been hanging out with friends a lot, and have been spending our time well. Looking forward for next week!
Monday – Off day - Holiday
Tuesday
- Attended a C++ lesson hosted by Read on templates, and vectors.
- Tested the goToPoint function to see whether or not it would go to the set point.
Wednesday
- Updated website with the current outlines.
- Made the box pushing program.
- Tested for accuracy of distance measured by robot.
Thursday
- Worked on improving website with more pictures.
- Tested the robot for the efficiency in box pushing.
- Had problems with plow so we constructed a new one to make it more stiff.
- Finished box pushing program.
- Merged previous RobotController codes into one that contained, IR sensor, ArucoMarkers, Bumper Reactions, and Box pushing.
- Tested the code that Saurabh gave us to input localization of Aruco Marker and determined the distance and the angle facing.
Friday
- Attended a quick C++ lesson hosted by Read on Data Structures.
- Worked as a group to create a class that provides marker information such as, the ID, and made a function to convert to meters.
- Combined Final RobotController with the new Marker Information code.
- Tested the robot code to determined the accuracy of the coordinates for the robot and map of office.
- Worked on Weekly Outline.
Goals for Next Week
- Program the create to at least assemble a letter from the Texas A&M logo.
- Allow the robot to tell where it’s located in the office using localization code and Aruco markers.
