DREU Week 9: Closing in on final tests and poster preparation

I mostly worked on the poster for symposium set for August 5th. I also ran tests with some of our new environments. To our surprise, we discovered some new problems with the conversion of our ligand files. So we worked to resolve the problem as we also focused on preparing the poster for the symposium.

During the week, I also worked on cleaning up the Analyze Strategy I had worked on during the summer. I made useful comments and documentation for the code I implemented, and also removed unnecessary code that were also included.

At our weekly motion planning meeting, the summer interns (including myself) presented the drafts for our posters that we had prepared, to get deefback from our mentors and other members of the lab on how to make them better. After this, I worked more on the poster based on the feedback from the meeting.

At the end of the week, I ran more tests with our environments to get more pictures for our poster. I also checked in the files for our collision detection method (PQP) that I made changes to for our project. I ended the week by attending a seminar on the ITAM robotics lab with Dr Marco Morales, a visiting professor.
