Journal Entry #10: 08/03/2015-08/07/2015

The summer is coming to an end, and I have enjoyed and learned a lot that I possibly can about Elm programming language. I still have a lot more to understand as far as syntax goes. Enjoying this experience has enable me to want to become more inclined to learning functional reactive programming. I will want to use functional reactive language in future work that I construct in the future. This journey makes me want to learn a variety of different languages that use functional reactive programming, not just Elm, but Haskell as well.

Attending college this fall, I will be taking a senior design project class. I am going to use functional reactive programming using Elm as the language of choice to create my program. Not only will I have to do more research, but I will also have to teach my teammates and group members the language as well. Hoping this will broaden the minds of my professors, in order to persuade the board of education to add a class specifically for functional programming.
