I am an undergraduate student studying computer science at UCSD expecting to graduate in June, 2014. My broad interests include computer architecture, compiler construction, machine learning, digital signal processing, education, and songwriting. My research goals are to enhance the processes of musical composition and instrument design, create higher fidelity sound synthesis techniques, and to make musical education more affordable, available, effective, and enjoyable.
This summer, I'm working in the Princeton Sound Lab with my mentor, Assistant Professor Rebecca Fiebrink. Three other undergraduates (one of them a fellow DREU participant, Alison Chang) are working in the lab on a different project.
