DREU SUMMER 2012

Journal Week 6 This week I adjusted the original components of the AMT HITs (for example the qualification exam) now that the IPUs were modified. We also reached a milestone: we are up to testing! So far a few students in the lab helped me out by testing the HITs in the sandbox. I practiced retrieving and processing the results, and received some helpful feedback! It is wonderful how everyone helps each other with their various research projects. This week I helped another student test out an experiment that also involves entrainment. I also assisted with that project by creating a few templates for them to collect uniform speech samples from their subjects. It is fascinating to observe and participate in some of the numerous projects going on in the lab! This week we all went on a lab field trip! We walked over to Grant's Tomb which is super close, and had a lovely picnic in the adjacent park. [PREVIOUS] [NEXT]
