Alicia Bargar's DREU Experience
Alicia Bargar

Welcome to my site! My name's Alicia Bargar. Thanks to the DREU program, I'm spending 10 weeks doing research on socially assistive robots under the direction of Professor Mataric and graduate mentor Jill Greczek. Check out the About and Research pages to learn more about who we are and what we're doing.

About DREU

DREU (Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates) is a research internship program that promotes research opportunities in computer science for women and students from underrepresented groups. Its goal is to increase the number of students in these categories that go into graduate studies.

About the USC Interaction Lab

The USC Interaction Lab is devoted to research regarding socially assistive robotics and applications. It was founded by Professor Maja Mataric in 1995. It is part of the Viterbi School of Engineering Computer Science Department, the USC Robotics Research Lab, and the Center for Robotics and Embedded Systems (CRES).
