Welcome to my webpage!

I'm Lorraine, and this website is about my Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) at Clemson University in Summer 2011.

About Me:

My name is Lorraine Lin. Fall 2011 marks my senior year in the Computer Science and Engineering undergraduate curriculum at Mississippi State University. I plan to graduate in May 2012. Although my major is in Computer Science, I've had a fondness for art and fantasy since I was little, and I hope to combine my artistic interests with my engineering side to create magic for others through animatronics, costuming, and 3D modeling and animation.

If you'd like to contact me, my e-mail and website are listed below:

About the Website:

My summer research involved making a training simulation for student nurses: I modeled a three-dimensional pediatric room, and I also put together and animated characters in it. The pediatric room is jungle themed, so I incorporated the same theme into my DREU website.

Curious about the two critters at the top of this page? Tazzle the Albino Thylacine on the left is my mascot for 3D animation, and the tiger on the right represents Clemson University.

I hope you enjoy the website!
