Welcome to my DREU webpage!
This summer, I'm working with Professors Carla Brodley and Andrea Danyluk, Heidy Khlaaf, and Emily Yu at Tufts University. We're creating a webcrawler to find female and minority computer scientists, which is actually rather difficult considering the fact that male computer scientists greatly outnumber female computer scientists. We plan to look into active learning techniques that will help us collect a better training set, which will in turn help us more accurately pick out the female computer scientists. Our project this summer is funded by DREU!
Read more about our project, or see my perspective on how it was through my weekly blog. Here is a copy of our final report.
