About Me
I am a junior studying Computer Science at the University of Kansas. This summer, I am participating in the Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) program. I have the pleasure of working at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
My Mentor
My mentor is Dr. Shannon Schlueter in the Department of Bioinformatics and Genomics at UNCC. His research is focused on using computational models to investigate and predict the processes of gene transcription and expression. He is also an expert in developing computer software genome annotation and data mining.
