My younger sister Beth graduated highschool this year! You only graduate from highschool once, so of course I wanted to go back home for a weekend to see it. Since Beth was graduating, my grandparents and my aunt were also visiting, so it was also an opportunity to see them. I decided to take the bus, because I have no car, and it was cheaper than the plane or train. Boy, I had no idea what kind of odyssey that would turn out to be... I spent 8 or 9 hours getting home. I nearly missed my connecting bus in Wilkes-Barre, and actually did miss my connecting bus at Port Authority in New York City. I had no idea Port Authority was so big! But I made it back home, very, very tired. I also missed my connecting bus in the city on the way back, which took even longer. (Something like 10 hours.) But, besides the awful traveling, the graduation was wonderful. I got to see my grandparents and my aunt, we went out to eat at Olive Garden for a graduation lunch, Beth graduated (and got some scholarship money!!), and I got to see some old friends from back home. (They called me at 2 in the morning, and we all went to the diner and talked for hours.. when we left the sun was rising.) Here are some pictures I took while I was there.. I'm a little trigger happy, Brad leant me his camera for the summer! ![]() Me and Beth..
