ABOUT ME
I am a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Tufts University in Medford MA.
I plan on graduating in 2010 with a BS in Computer Science.
SO THIS IS TEXAS ...
I am working this summer with Dr. Nancy Amato of the Department of Computer Science
at Texas A&M University on the STAPL project. Dr. Amato's main areas of research include in Motion Planning, Parallel & Distributed Computing (e.g. STAPL), and their applications. You can learn more about her research here.
HOW I GOT HERE ...
I am enjoying this opportunity to do research with Dr. Amato courtesy of the Distributed Mentor Project, set up by the Computer Research Association's Committee on the Status of Women in Computer Research (CRA-W) to draw more women into doing research in Computer Science and Engineering. I am very grateful that they gave me this opportunity and plan to work as hard as possible on STAPL in order to take advantage of it.
