My Mentors and Advisors
--some information about the people who guided my research process--

Dr. Yoonsuck Choe
Dr. Choe is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Texas A&M. He was my faculty mentor for the summer, and helped me to choose, design, and implement my research project. Throughout the summer, we met twice weekly (or more frequently if we needed to) to discuss my progress since the last meeting, any troubles I was having with the project, and where to go next. Click on his name to visit his TAMU website, where his research interests, publications, contact info, and affiliations can be found.
Dr. Nancy Amato
Dr. Amato is a Professor of Computer Science at Texas A&M. She is the advisor of the Parasol program, and led our DMP group. Although I did not work directly under her, she is responsible for hooking me up with the DMP program at TAMU, for which I owe her many thanks!
Huei-Fang Yang
Huei-Fang is a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at Texas A&M. She is a fellow advisee of Dr. Choe, as well as an office-mate, and is my graduate student advisor for the summer. Huei-Fang helped me get settled into the office here at TAMU and also helped me with all of my silly undergraduate questions.
Dr. Jeffrey Ondich
Jeff is a Professor of Computer Science at Carleton. He is my general advisor at Carleton, as well as the advisor for my senior comprehensive exercise's group. (If you ever need to have a conversation with a computer about buying groceries, contact me in about 8 months and I'll let you know how it's done.) Jeff's main interests are Natural Language Processing and Software Design.
